Steffi Roscoe

I feel privileged to be able to help look after the lovely children at St Mary’s and really enjoy working in the spacious and light hall which makes the children and staff feel at home, for the pass 3 and a half years. I have a Level 3 Early Years qualification and I am the designated safeguarding lead for our setting.

Paula Dinwoodie

I became involved with St Mary’s when the first of my two boys started playgroup back in 2011, becoming a full member of the team in 2013.

I currently handle the financial side of playgroup alongside working with the children. I have recently passed my Level 3 Early Years Educator and am really looking forward to putting all my new skills to the test!

Clare Roadknight

I have been lucky enough to have been at St Mary’s playgroup since 2007. I had a break when I had my second child and was happy to return in 2020.

I completed my childcare qualification in 2010. I find St Mary’s a happy, nurturing environment to be involved in and love watching the children flourish and feel privileged I can play a small part in that.

George England

I joined Playgroup at the beginning of 2022. I had previously worked overseas in a Kindergarten for 3 years, gaining lots of experience with pre-schoolers.
More recently, I worked at the local primary school, looking after a range of children from 5-7yrs.
My passion is really with the early years sector though, as I love to watch how the children can develop in such a short space of time. Both my boys attended St Mary’s when they were younger, and I feel so lucky to have been welcomed into the Playgroup team!
